Aviva Tu began her professional music training at the Shanghai Conservatory, where years of intensive study in violin and piano laid the foundation for her career as a musician. After moving to Taiwan, she earned top honors in regional violin competitions, represented Hualien at the national level, and pursued a double major in piano and violin while taking on leadership roles, performing everything from classical and jazz to orchestral and contemporary music, and beginning the teaching career that would later grow into her own private studio. Raised in a family immersed in the fabric printing industry, Aviva also developed a lifelong appreciation for textiles and design, a creative influence that continues to complement her work today.
